DSP/Assistant PCS Industries

Assist Powder Coat Line Supervisor in scheduling, supervising and coordinating activities of production line workers engaged in loading and unloading parts on powder coat line conveyor.
2. Perform supervisory duties in supervisor’s absence, as needed.
3. Assist with daily and/or weekly paperwork, as needed.
4. Communicate with supervisor and/or Matthew Warren staff on daily production.
5. Assist supervisor in directing Alternate Workers to their daily job assignment.
6. Maintain appropriate written records, including time cards, accident reports and other special incidents.
7. Confer with supervisor, as needed, regarding client training and work behaviors.
8. Inform PCS Industrial Services Manager and/or supervisor of special concerns, safety issues and supply/equipment needs on an as needed basis.
9. Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and attend other agency required trainings.
10. Support agency objectives and conform to agency employment policies.
11. Assist in the absence of Alternate Workers or cover during breaks, as needed.
12. Prepare work areas, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
13. Assume other duties as assigned.

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Driver’s License and pass required background checks. Experience in an industrial setting recommended. Job requires personal flexibility, the ability to relate with a wide range of people, a high degree of physical activity and good communication skills. Physical demands include standing, but not limited to sending and receiving e-mail, accessing web page, entering basic data and common use applications.
