Travel required to various job sites in served counties
must have a high school diploma or GED
be able to pass a TB test
Ability to work with individuals is essential. Experience working with persons with disabilities is preferred
1) be able to lift up to 60 lbs, be able to walk, bend, squat, turn at the knees, back, wrists and shoulders, and grasp with both hands (in order to properly perform the techniques taught in CPR/First Aid, Client Intervention Techniques, and Lifting and Carrying Techniques)
2) be able to see and hear with or without correction
3) be able to speak, read, and write in English
Report to: Employment Services Manager and Director of Day Services
be able to complete all required paperwork and submit by required deadlines and timelines
Required to read and check email on a daily and no less the weekly 10) monitor production and quality control
1. Provide Job Development Services by contacting community employers to develop, job carve, and/or identify job opportunities for employment service clients.
2. Educate prospective employers about various disabilities and resulting vocational implications, assistive technological devices, job accommodations, agency services, and current disability related legislation affecting the employer.
3. Provide liaison between community employers, Vocational Rehabilitation and agency Employment Services Program.
4. Provide a job analysis, and task analysis, as required, to facilitate Client placement and job training.
5. Maintain appropriate record keeping, including individual case notes, monthly progress reports, employer contact forms, statistical data, reports associated with employment service activities, and information required for billing purposes and disseminate same to appropriate individuals, in a timely fashion.
6. Provide direct instruction and fading supervision of client in the performance of their job duties at community job sites.
7. Provide follow along services to client placed in community jobs.
8. Evaluate Client work performance using interviews with Client and his/her supervisor, on-site observations and completion of worker evaluation forms.
9. Attend required staff meetings and in-service training, including the required EST 100 training.
10. Maintain conformance with CARF and all applicable standards, rules, regulations, laws and administrative codes.
