Like anyone, men and women with developmental disabilities have dreams. Through individual and group education, the Habilitation Program helps them achieve those dreams.
Classes are structured to meet the needs of each individual and are taught wherever needs are best served: in the classroom, at home, or in the community.
Courses may include (but are not limited to):
- Healthy living
- Computer skills
- Pedestrian safety
- Discussion groups
- Basic academics
- Community volunteering
- Social skills
The variety of classes offered is as wide as the interests of the individuals served. Education opens doors of personal opportunity and encourages living more independently.
