We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role requires expertise in applied behavior analysis and a thorough knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and special education practices. BMAN provides coaching and expectations for behavior to promote positive, pro-social behaviors. This includes training, supervision, or assistance in: appropriate expression of emotions, appropriate expression of desires, appropriate expression of assertiveness, acquisition of socially appropriate behaviors, reduction of inappropriate behaviors and stress reduction techniques.
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We strive to help our clients live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. Depending on the needs of the client, DSPs aid with life skill development, health maintenance, medication administration, personal care and behavioral development. DSPs work in a number of settings including Group Homes (small residential homes that serve 2-8 people), Day Programs (life skills, pre-employment training, work services and habilitation programming), Home and Community Based Services (in-home care and supports) and Vocational Habilitation (job skill training and job placement).
